E.D.: The Conspiracy of Silence

In dealing with erectile dysfunction problems, silence and lack-of-communication are a man's two worst enemies. ED is an imminently treatable problem that need not curtail a man's sex life. But a man can't get help if he doesn't seem help from medical professionals. Sadly, 40 % of men nationwide don't talk to their doctors -- or really anyone -- about problems with erectile dysfunction.

According to Medical News Today:

"A new survey reveals that while 82 percent of men with erectile dysfunction (ED) surveyed recognize it as an indicator of other health conditions, such as heart disease and diabetes, nearly 40 percent have never discussed the condition with their doctors."

Some more depressing information:

"The survey also found that discomfort discussing ED ranked as the number one barrier to good communication between a man and his doctor -- indicated by 74 $ of men with ED who participated in the survey. The survey also found that, despite their discomfort, 64 percent of ED sufferers surveyed wished to learn more about ED treatment methods and strategies. "

Moral of the story? Speak up and get help? There's no need to suffer and every reason to get your sex life back!
