Prostate Cancer and its Relationship to ED

Boston Medical Group knows that there are certain other medical conditions that could bring about the onset of erectile dysfunction. But you may not be aware of it, or might not associate one thing with another, unless that is explained to you.

The more education you have in things like this, the better off you're going to be.

One of those disorders that could be associated with erectile dysfunction is prostate cancer. The prostate, of course, is a small gland near the bladder. There is a close proximity to the nerves that are involved with the process of achieving an erection.

Prostate cancer is rather common; in fact, as far as men are concerned, it is the most common form of cancer that is not involved with the skin. The good news for men is that it is treatable, but the bad news is that the treatment itself could be something that eventually leads to erectile dysfunction.

If you have undergone hormonal therapy, that can have a very real effect. The same can be said about radiation therapy, as you might imagine. What you are talking about here is an effect on tissues and nerves, and that is something that is going to put you in danger of developing erectile dysfunction.

It does not make sense to be in the dark about these things, as long as it is something that can be dealt with. And if it indeed can be dealt with, Boston Medical Group has the people who can deal with it.

Contact BMG at any of their 21 convenient locations and find out how your condition can be treated.
